Privacy policy
Who we are
Kantekt LLC ("Kantekt," "we," "us") is a remodel contractor based in Black Hawk, South Dakota, serving Rapid City, Black Hawk, and nearby Black Hills towns. This policy covers the website at kantekt.app and the quote form on it.
What we collect
When you use the quote form or contact us, we may collect:
- Name, phone number, email address, and town
- Project type, timeline, budget range (if you choose one), and notes you write
- Photos you choose to upload
- Whether you agreed to be contacted by call or text about your quote, and whether you opted in to SMS project updates
To keep the form working and stop spam, our server also records the date and time of your request and a one-way (hashed) form of your IP address used only for rate limiting. This site does not currently use analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. If we add privacy-friendly analytics later, we will name the tool here.
You do not need an account to request a quote.
How we use your information
We use it only to:
- Respond to your quote request or message
- Schedule a measure or discuss the project
- Create and manage a job record in our estimating and invoicing tools
- Keep the website running and protected from spam
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information.
We do not share your quote request with other contractors or a lead marketplace.
We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us run the website and hosting, email, and our estimating and invoicing system, only as needed to serve your request
- Separately licensed trade contractors (for example plumbing or electrical) only if you hire Kantekt for a job that needs their work, and only what is needed for that job
- Authorities when the law requires it
Calls, texts, and email
If you check the box to be contacted about your quote, we may call or text the number you gave about that request.
If you separately opt in to SMS project updates, we may text you about scheduling and status for that project. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS. Reply HELP for help.
You can ask us to stop contacting you anytime by emailing estimates@kantekt.app or calling (605) 389-3110. We may still contact you about an active job or a legal requirement.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and job records are kept as long as needed for the project, warranties, bookkeeping, and legal requirements, then deleted or archived under our normal records practice.
Your choices
You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete a quote request that did not become a job, by contacting estimates@kantekt.app or (605) 389-3110. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is for adults requesting remodel work. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We use HTTPS and limit access to the business tools that hold customer data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will change the effective date on this page.
